Leaves large, leathery, oval, dark-to grey-green with bold creamy-white edge, retained year round, making it ideal for covering walls and fences, for climbing over archways and other structures.
Suitable for: Sun or medium shade. Tolerates a wide range of soils except extremely dry.
Height and Spread in 10 years: 3.5m x 3.5m. Protrudes 1m from support.
Planting: Soak the rootball before planting. Plant in a hole twice the diameter of the rootball or pot. Mix an organic soil improver and general fertiliser with the infill soil. Water regularly until established.
Care: Normally requires no specific pruning, other than keeping within bounds. Not fully self-supporting and may need tying to support, particularly in windy areas or regions experiencing heavy snowfall.
