Thought by many to be one of the most attractive of all hardy Lavenders, certainly one of the deepest blue coloured and scented flowers. Foliage is grey-green, sparse and retained year round.
Suitable for: Border edges, pots and containers. Plant in full sun on a well-drained soil. Dislikes shade. Hardy.
Flowering time: Mid to late Summer.
Height and spread: 50cm x 50cm (18in x 18in).
Care: Shorten back all previous season's growth to within 5-8cm (2-3in) of ground level in mid Spring to encourage attractive Summer growth and flowers. Water regularly until established.
