Bushy shrub with terminal clusters of beautiful deep-blue flowers from late Summer. Semi-evergreen leaves turn rich shades of plum red and maroon during Autumn. Spreads by creeping roots.
Suitable for: A sunny, sheltered spot in almost any fertile, well drained soil.
Height and spread in 10 years: 45cm x 45cm (18in x 18in) spread.
Planting: Soak the rootball before planting. Plant in a hole twice the diameter of the rootball or pot. Mix an organic soil improver and general fertiliser with the infill soil. Water regularly until established.
Care: Frost hardy. Cut dead branches back hard to base in early Spring.
