Cordylines are evergreen shrubs or woody stemmed perennials having a parm-like appearance. They are excellent in containers or for specimen planting, adding an exotic touch to the border or patio.
Suitable for: Well drained, fertile soil or compost in sun or partial side.
Foliage- Year round.
Height and Spread in 10 years: 60cm- 10cm x 1.5m (24in-30ft x 5ft)
Planting: Ensure rootball is thoroughly moist when planting and maintain plant at the same level in the soil as it was in the container. Back-fill planting hole with two parts soil mixed with one part peat substitute and a suitable fertiliser. Keep moist until established. This half-hardy plant needs protection from the frost.
