Salvia officinalis 'Tricolour'. Perennial.
A fairly hardy plant with green, cream and pinky/purple oval shaped leaves with lavender coloured flowers in the summer.
Position: Plant in well-drained soil in a warm and dry position.
Care: Keep well watered until established and in dry weather. Prune in spring to encourage new growth.
Harvest: Pick fresh leaves any time through growing period. Pick flowers and seeds when ready.
Uses: Leaves and flowers can be added to salads. Use to treat digestive disorders and gargle to treat mouth sores.
